There are no "simple answers," he said. "Will battle to prevent it from happening. The question is the manner by which quick they can bring it down."

Most informal communities boycott brutal and stunning substance, however given the volume of postings, they generally depend on clients to recognize and report them.

FIA forwards three names to SC for Panama JIT

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has forwarded names of its three nominees to the Supreme Court for the Joint Investigation Team, which will conduct a probe into funds allegedly used by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's children to buy properties in London through offshore businesses.
The names of FIA Additional Director General (ADG) Captain (retd) Ahmed Lateef, ADG Doctor Shafeeq and ADG Wajid Zia have been forwarded to the SC, which will decide the final name for heading the JIT.
Earlier today sources revealed that Captain (retd) Lateef and ADG Doctor Shafeeq went on leave citing medical reasons, raising speculation that the remaining ADG in office, ADG Zia, could head the JIT.
Citing the 'indifference' and 'unwillingness' of the chairman of the National Accountability Bureau in its verdict on the Panama leaks case, a five-member Supreme Court bench had said there were still questions "which go to the heart of the matter and need to be answered".
According to the verdict, the six-member team will comprise the following officers:

FIA officer

A senior Officer of the Federal Investigation Agency, who will not be below the rank of Additional Director General. Having firsthand experience of investigation of white collar crime, the FIA officer will head the investigation team.
NAB representative
Despite expressing their lack of trust in the National Accountability Bureau chairman to investigate the matter, a representative of NAB will also be part of the six-member JIT.

SECP officer

A nominee of the Security & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Having investigative and enforcement powers, the SECP is responsible for regulation and supervision of the corporate sector, capital market, insurance companies, and non-banking finance companies.
Here, the SECP will play his part in the investigation team as he would be familiar with issues of money laundering and white collar crimes.

State Bank of Pakistan nominee

As the probe involves a lot of financial transactions, an official of the country's central bank will also be on the investigation team.

ISI officer

The Inter-Services Intelligence, Pakistan's premier intelligence agency, will also be represented by on the team by a seasoned officer nominated by ISI Director-General Lt-Gen Naveed Mukhtar.

MI officer

The Military Intelligence will also be part of the team, with a seasoned officer nominated by its director-general.

Here's what Donald Trump has said about Pakistan and MuslimsDonald

Donald Trump News
As Donald Trump’s win in the US Election 2016 wrapped up perhaps the most charged and unpredictable race in American history, fear rippled through the rest of the world over the impending uncertainty that his presidency would bring.
As America and the rest of the world reel in shock, let’s take a look at what President-elect Trump has said about Pakistan and Muslims in general, in the recent past.
Pakistan’s nuclear weapons a ‘vital problem’
During an interview with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper earlier this year, then-Republican frontrunner Trump termed Pakistan "a vital problem" for the US. "Because they have a thing called nuclear weapons" he said, adding, "They have to get a better hold of the situation."
Tweet after Lahore blast
Following the suicide blast in Lahore which killed at least 74 people in March, Trump had tweeted: 'I alone can solve'.
He had later explained his tweet saying, "When I see they [the attackers] put it [the bomb] in a park and there were mostly Christians although many others were killed...I think it is absolutely a horrible story."
"But I am talking about radical Islamic terrorism. I will solve it better than anyone else running," he had said.
Pull-back on aid
In 2011, NDTV reported that Trump had called for an immediate pull-back on aid to Pakistan unless it did away with its nuclear weapons.
“They are not friends of ours. (There are) plenty of other terrorists in Pakistan, we know that,” he had said.
Ban on Muslims
Trump has said he wants to ban foreign Muslims from entering the US, sparking criticism from all quarters, including fellow Republicans. He proposed the ban following the shooting in San Bernardino, California in December 2015.
“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” his campaign stated in a release at the time.
Trump later toned down his stance, saying that the ban would be “temporary in nature”.
“It’s a temporary ban. It hasn’t been called for yet, nobody’s done it,” he said on Fox News Radio. “This is just a suggestion until we find out what’s going on.”
Trump reiterated the proposed ban after the massacre in Orlando, Florida earlier this year. “I called for a ban after San Bernardino and was met with great scorn and anger. But now … many are saying that I was right to do so. And although the pause is temporary, we must find out what is going on. We have to do it,” he said. “It will be lifted, this ban, when and as a nation we’re in a position to properly and perfectly screen these people coming into our country.
Khizr and Ghazala Khan
Trump’s campaign was again mired in controversy when he lashed out at Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the parents of US Army Captain Humayun Khan who was killed in Iraq.
At the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Khizr Khan had urged Trump to read the US Constitution and said to him: "You have sacrificed nothing and no one."
Trump, in an interview to ABC later, said Khan's wife Ghazala stood at his side during the speech and said nothing, suggesting that she was not allowed to speak.
Ghazala Khan, in an article for The Washington Post, responded that "when Donald Trump is talking about Islam, he is ignorant."
Pakistan-India relations
Recently Trump made a reference to Pakistan in response to a question asked by an Indian journalist that whether he would support Modi government’s action against Islamabad amid escalating cross-border tension.
To this Trump said: “Well, I would love to see Pakistan and India get along, because that’s a very, very hot tinderbox…. That would be a very great thing. I hope they can do it.”
He added he would be happy to ‘mediate’ between the two neighbours to defuse the situation.

Australia to restrict gas exports as energy crisis bites

Major Autralia Gass
SYDNEY (AFP) - Australia will enforce export restrictions on major gas producers, the prime minister said Thursday, to shore up domestic supply as a growing energy crisis sees power prices rise and blackouts more common.
The country is expected to surpass Qatar as the world’s largest liquid natural gas producer by 2020 -- with Japan, China and South Korea key buyers. But booming export demands have left it short of local supplies.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said exporters were dipping into domestic reserves to fulfil foreign contracts and intervention was needed to curtail "dramatically higher prices" paid in Australia.
"It is ridiculous for us to be on the edge of becoming the largest LNG exporter in the world and not have to have enough gas for our businesses, for our households, for industries, great industries like this here in Australia," he said at a manufacturing plant in Queensland.
The move -- which from July 1 will allow the government to put export controls on producers to ensure they put more into the domestic market than they take out -- was a "temporary measure" until Australia could unlock more reserves, he added.
Turnbull accused state governments, who in some instances have banned gas production on environmental grounds, of "putting the energy sector and manufacturing at risk".
"We should be able to export plenty of gas and have plenty of gas available for our domestic market. We should be able to do both and we need to get more production."
Major Australian gas producer Santos said it would collaborate with the government.
"As an Australian company, Santos has been a long term supplier of natural gas at affordable rates in support of the domestic market on the Australian Securities Exchange," it said in a statement.
"Moving forward Santos will supply more gas into the Australian domestic market than it purchases for its share of LNG exports."
Despite being one of the world’s biggest coal and gas producers, political debate over energy supply has raged since South Australia suffered a statewide blackout in September and record-high temperatures in recent months put pressure on the national energy grid.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission announced last week an industry-wide investigation into Australia’s gas market, fearing that soaring prices would put Australian firms out of business.
"The inquiry will examine how gas suppliers will make more gas available to Australian industry and other domestic gas users, and the effect this has on overall market dynamics," ACCC chairman Rod Sims said.

Samsung Elec flags stronger second quarter

SEOUL (Reuters) - Samsung Electronics Co Ltd on Thursday flagged stronger earnings and announced a cancellation of treasury shares after posting a solid first-quarter profit boosted by the memory chip business, sending its shares to a new high.
Samsung rejected a call from U.S. activist hedge fund Elliott to split itself in two but accepted part of the fund’s proposals on Thursday, revealing plans to cancel its existing treasury shares worth over $35 billion by 2018.
While the first quarter was a torrid time for Samsung as chief Jay Y. Lee was swept up in a political corruption scandal, the world’s top maker of memory chips, smartphones and televisions still managed to book a profit that supports expectations for record earnings in 2017.
First-quarter operating profit for Asia’s most valuable company by market capitalization was 9.9 trillion won ($8.75 billion), matching Samsung’s earlier guidance. Revenue rose 2 percent to 50.5 trillion won.
Elliott welcomed the share cancellation and said it saw "room for even more progress". The fund had called for Samsung to adopt a holding company structure by splitting itself in two, and to pay out a 30 trillion won a special dividend.
"We are encouraged that Samsung Electronics has agreed to take the bold step of optimizing its balance sheet ... even as the company has faced obstacles," Elliot said in a statement.
Samsung Electronics shares were up 2.6 percent at a record high in a flat wider market.
In rejecting Elliott’s call for a holding company structure, Samsung cited issues including regulatory and legal risks, and said it would not boost investor returns.
"Samsung concluded the risks and the challenging environment surrounding a change in the corporate structure would not be beneficial for enhancing shareholder value and sustaining long-term business growth," it said in a statement.
A memory chip super-cycle and the revival of the mobile business - damaged by the costly failure and fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 last year - look set to underpin Samsung’s profitability after the best quarterly result since 2013.
"Looking ahead to the second quarter, the company expects to achieve growth on the back of continued robust memory performance together with improved earnings from the mobile business" following the global rollout of the new Galaxy S8 smartphone, Samsung said in a statement.
Samsung’s chip business remained the top earner with a record 6.3 trillion won operating profit, buoyed by price gains for both DRAM and NAND memory chips as supply growth constraints and demand for more firepower on devices such as smartphones and servers boosted margins.
The Apple Inc competitor’s mobile division reported January-March operating profit of 2.07 trillion won, down from 3.89 trillion won a year earlier. Samsung had no new premium product generate meaningful sales in the January-March period.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 launched in April were better than many analysts had expected, raising hopes the new flagship handset will make up for the failure of Note 7s.
Recent complaints about red-tinted screens and spotty Wi-fi connection on the S8 would not have a major impact on the bottom line, analysts said.

Indian police arrest Asiya Andrabi, block social media in occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) - Indian police on Thursday arrested Dukhtaran-i-Millat chairperson Syeda Asiya Andrabi from her residence in Srinagar late Wednesday night.
A DeM spokesperson in a statmenet issued in Srinagar said that Aasiya Andrabi was arrested by police from her residence at Soura in Srinagar. “A contingent of police along with SHO Soura raided the residence of Aasiya at around 11:30 pm and arrested her,” added the spokesperson.
Hurriyet leader Yasin Malik’s wife Mashal Malik has strongly condemned the arrest “Indian has violated the charter of United Nations through its atrocities in occupied Kashmir. The forces are spilling blood of innocent Kashmiris as they are no longer afraid of their state-terrorism,” she declared.
On the other hand, authorities in India-held Kashmir have ordered internet service providers to block popular social media services including Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp as a new tactic to hide their brutalities. It is the first time the government has taken such a step, although it regularly blocks the mobile internet signal in the volatile Kashmir valley.
Indian occupied Kashmir has been tense since April 9, when eight people including seven students were killed by police and paramilitaries during by-election violence. Anti-India sentiment runs deep in the Kashmir valley, one of the world’s most heavily militarised spots where most people favour independence or a merger with Pakistan.
Clashes between freedom fighters and government forces have become more frequent since the killing of a popular leader, Burhan Wani, by security forces last July sparked widespread unrest. Authorities responded by imposing a curfew, suspending mobile networks in large parts of the territory and seizing newspapers to try to quell protests.
They say social media are being used increasingly frequently to rally crowds which then attack government forces, often by throwing rocks at them.Social media are also being used by both sides in the conflict to spread images and video footage in a growing war of information.
A video released on social media sites earlier this month showed a man tied to a jeep being used as a human shield against stone-throwers by soldiers in occupied Kashmir. The 11-second clip went viral and has sparked outrage and heated debate about the role of the military.
Rights activists say Indian forces in occupied Kashmir have been using human shields since the late 1980s, when an armed insurgency against Indian rule erupted across the territory.
Roughly 500,000 Indian soldiers are deployed in the region, which has been divided between India and Pakistan since the end of British rule in 1947. Both claim the territory in its entirety. On Wednesday student protesters took to the streets, clashing with government forces who used shotguns to disperse them. Students have staged almost daily protests in recent weeks, chanting slogans demanding freedom from India and throwing rocks at police.
They were angered by a raid earlier this month on a college in the southern district of Pulwama in which police tried to detain the alleged ringleaders of earlier protests.

Earlier this week the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, the northern state that administers the area, held talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the developing crisis. Mehbooba Mufti said after the meeting that dialogue was needed to calm the situation.

Uber wants to launch ´flying cars´ by 2020

fly car, latest news
Fly car
SAN FRANCISCO: Uber said Tuesday it wants to launch a system of flying cars to move people around cities, with a goal of putting demonstration projects in place by 2020.
The ridesharing giant announced a series of partnerships to manufacture "vertical takeoff and landing" (VTOL) vehicles and put networks in place, a system dubbed Uber Elevate.
The partner cities working with Uber are Dubai and the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolis in Texas.
"The goal of these partnerships is to develop a new on-demand VTOL network to enable customers in the future to push a button and get a high-speed flight in and around cities," Uber said in a statement.
The announcement came at a summit held in the Dallas area with partners in the project.
"What started as a simple question ´why can´t I push a button and get a ride?´ has turned, for Uber, into a passionate pursuit of the pinnacle of urban mobility -- the reduction of congestion and pollution from transportation, giving people their time back, freeing up real estate dedicated to parking and providing access to mobility in all corners of a city," said Uber chief product officer Jeff Holden.
"Urban aviation is a natural next step for Uber in this pursuit, which is why we are working to make push a button, get a flight a reality."
Uber´s goal is to have the first demonstration network in place in Dubai for the 2020 World Expo in that city, and to have "full-scale operations" in Dallas by 2023.
The announcement came a day after Silicon Valley "flying car" startup Kitty Hawk, reportedly backed by Google co-founder Larry Page, released a video of its airborne prototype and announced plans for deliveries of a "personal flying machine" this year.
Uber´s plans appear more ambitious, and include partnerships with US-based Bell Helicopter, Brazilian manufacturer Embraer and Slovenia´s Pipistrel to produce flying machines for short distance urban operations.
"Uber´s Elevate network is an exciting opportunity for Bell Helicopter to help transform how cities move people and products in the future," Bell president and chief executive Mitch Snyder said in a statement.
Embraer vice president Antonio Campello said: "We share Uber´s revolutionary vision that the state of transportation in congested cities is ripe for innovative solutions."
The Uber plan also includes partnerships for "vertiports" for the flyers to take off and land, along with changing stations for the transporters, which are expected to be mainly electric-powered.
